BA Degree in Communications and American History. Went back to school for Ohio Licensure in Middle School Education 4th-9th (Specializing in Language Arts and Social Studies). A life long learner, has taken many business classes at Cleveland State University just to stay sharp. In 2022, I began creating the lesson plans and manipulatives for a new way of helping youth understand the US financial system, You Can Escape The Box!
You Can Escape the Box: Financial Literacy System, consist of lesson plans, workbooks, manipulatives, and games. It will soon be available for schools and organizations all over the country.

Our program serves as a unique roadmap for students, providing them with practical tools to navigate the complexities of life and make informed financial decisions. Through a dynamic mix of music, games, and both group and solo projects, “You Can Escape the Box!” fosters an interactive learning environment that resonates with the energetic and creative spirit of teenagers.

We are looking for someone who can dedicate at least 1 hour two days a week for4 weeks. Your discipline can be in any medium. You must love working with students and are able to provide a written lesson planned for all of your classes.
